BEFORE YOUR LESSON
In order to book a lesson with Pathway Driving, you will need to be 17 years of age and hold a valid provisional licence before your first driving lesson can take place.
You can apply for your provisional license up to three months before your 17th birthday, either in person, online or by post.
To apply for your provisional licence, you will need to complete a D1 form, which you can get from any Post Office and send it to the DVLA, a long with required I.D.

PASS PLUS
Pass Plus is an established training course aimed at new drivers. It was designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry.
You will be taught by an approved driving instructor (ADI) who will teach the six training modules required in pass plus:
– in town
– in all weathers
– on rural roads
– at night
– on dual carriage ways
– on motorway

Pathway Driving offers Pass Plus courses to all new and existing drivers.
Pass Plus is an established training course aimed at new drivers. It was designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry.
Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years after passing their test, due to lack of driving experience.
Pass Plus builds on your skills and knowledge. It will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, to help you become a more confident driver.
